The data presented on this page summarises the progress of INDC development worldwide, indicates the dates at which INDCs are expected to be submitted, and presents a preliminary summary of the various approaches and experiences from the INDC preparation process. Stages of INDC development
Country representatives indicated which stage they are currently at within their INDC development processes. The column chart shows how the preparation status has progressed from previous months.Date of INDC submission
Country representatives indicated by when they are planning to submit their INDCs to the UNFCCC. Each column in the first chart represents the accumulative total of the number of responding countries expecting to submit their INDCs by the given date. The orange portion of the columns indicates the new submissions within each respective month. The second chart (viewable only for the 'global' dataset) shows the proportion of GHG emissions covered by submitted INDCs by a given date*. The second chart includes all countries, including those for which no information could yet be obtained.Process integration

*Data related to GHG emissions relates to 2012 global emissions excluding LULUCF based on a collection of data sources, including the UNFCCC, IEA and EDGAR databases.
